Design for print

Design for print can be hugely impactful and I have decades of experience in using graphic design to convey key messages to your chosen audiences in a visually engaging way, successfully capturing their attention and interest.

Print design and graphic design services

With many businesses having moved away from print in favour of digital mediums, it is now much easier to mark out your place with print communications. Whether you opt for a flyer, business cards or a 48-sheet billboard, we’ve worked on all sizes and formats of print materials and would be glad to talk through the best options for you and your business.

Burnett Design print and graphic design projects

We are happy to work on an existing brand and produce print materials that are inline with that, equally well, and can start with a fresh slate and begin to develop a recognisable brand through printed pieces. Either way you can be sure of our attention to detail and willingness to produce designs that best represent your business.

As well as working for you, we will always work with you and open myself up to discussion – in this way, our clients have all grown to trust our teams design insight, experience and ability to add value to their marketing and business plans.

What can you expect from us? Initially, we will produce one to three design concepts for discussion and review. We will then select the concept which you feel best answers the brief and make any revisions or amendments before moving on to final tweaks and approval. Once the brief is complete and the artwork has been signed off we will offer advice on your printing options (types of paper, size of print run, digital or traditional print process etc) and make recommendations for printers to work with – we have good working relationships with many printers in and around the South Lakes and beyond.

Burnett Design, Print & Graphic Design Skills

Stationery design

Designing business stationery is like dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s – a suite of letterheads, compliment slips, invoices, purchase orders, business cards etc that are consistently and professionally designed speak volumes about the pride that you take in your work and how you wish to present yourself in all aspects of business activity.

Magazines

Neil worked as a magazine designer for many years early in his career and is always more than happy to return to this form of print design! High quality, visually interesting and content-rich magazine spreads can really boost sales and increase levels of brand engagement.

Brochures

A close relation of magazines, brochures are an affordable way to achieve the same rise in sales and brand engagement without the higher price tag. Playing with size, format, print finish and image treatments can make all the difference between a throw-away piece and a keeper that benefits your bottom line.

Leaflets & flyers

This format has evolved from traditional handbills to high gloss handouts and there’s an impressive number of options for folding, format and print finish. Used to great effect by bricks and mortar businesses looking to encourage footfall, leaflets and flyers offer good return on investment and value for money in print marketing terms.

Direct Mail

Brochures, postcards, leaflets, sales letters, catalogues – all are valuable direct mail approaches where your message drops on the doorstep of existing or prospective clients. When designed well, direct mail can result in good levels of sales conversions and in terms of converting prospects to active customers.

Advertising

Stand out on the page with professionally designed and cleverly conceived advertising campaigns. Working on campaigns in advance so that your artwork is ready to go is a good way to make use of advertising budgets – you can respond to late space offers at greatly reduced rates.

Annual Reports

Annual reports are often undervalued by businesses but there are so many ways to change this seemingly conservative document into an exciting and engaging print piece – they can even be entered into an annual award, which recognises the importance of engaging staff and stakeholders in innovative ways.
