The Lake District is an inspiring and creative environment in which to live and work. We are well placed to respond to the needs of local, regional and national clients from our base here – We even respond to briefs from international customers on occasion.
Neil is the head of Burnett Design but you may get the pleasure of working with our expanding team of designers and developers including Jennie, Maria, Tony and Dave. We also work closely with a select group of talented local writers, photographers and marketing experts we get involved as the job dictates.
Over the last two decades I have enjoyed learning new skills and building a knowledge base that allows me to bridge print and web, which is beneficial to clients who wish to create a brand and marketing strategy that works well across both.
My professional roles have included Art Editor at NME and Select Magazine, Senior Designer at well-respected local agencies, and Creative and Digital Designer at Adventure Peaks, where I’ve created and managed multiple websites and devised web strategies to boost sales, increase conversions, and raise brand awareness.
The experience I’ve gained in fast-paced and deadline-driven roles means I’m good at working to tight deadlines and on challenging projects. I have built up excellent knowledge and understanding of design, digital marketing, search engine optimisation and E-commerce and have experience in pay per click advertising, search and social media platforms.
Aside from the professionalism upon which I pride myself, I’m also very approachable and easy to work with. I’m happy to walk clients through the creative process so that they feel 100% comfortable with what’s involved and know what to expect from me at each stage. This leads to positive working relationships, which in turn leads to improved outcomes.
